Straight Talk in Higher Ed

I’ve spent twenty+ years  mentoring students from small private colleges to state run universities, from teaching undergraduate Communist Party scholars in mainland China to graduate US and NATO forces examining leadership and strategy.  I’ve engaged individuals from a variety of backgrounds across five continents, such as skin-diving fisherman in the Niger Delta seeking to improve the lives of their entire villages. Prior to that I served as an international corporate executive implementing strategy across three continents. Along the way I’ve noted similar patterns, challenges, questions, and desires.  I’ve also come to some straightforward conclusions and can offer frank advice to those with questions.
